Online Admission of Arya Vidyapeeth College

Information for New Admission 2020-21

The whole admission process will be conducted only through online mode.

Students may download the prospectus free of cost from the college website www.avcollege.ac.in. The registration, form fill up and admission to the classes for the session 2020-21 will be completely online and free of cost.

The admission fee will be waived off as per Assam Government order. However, the fee of the self financed courses will not be waived off (Order Number AHE: 639/2018/16-A)

B.Com. and M.Sc. Chemistry are self financed courses.

Only permanent residents from Assam can avail free admission. Applicants have to furnish supporting document to prove their domicile of Assam.

As per Government order, it is mandatory for the applicants to furnish their bank details on the admission form itself. Moreover, applicants have to undertake that their bank account details and mobile number shall not be changed/ altered during the tenure of study in the college so as to continue to receive Govt. beneficiary schemes.

Reservation policy will be followed as per the Government rule. The supporting document has to be issued only by the competent authority under the Government of Assam.

Arya Vidyapeeth College has both boys' and girls' hostel. Admission to hostels will be done later on. However, any applicant seeking admission to hostel should opt for hostel in the online form.

Documents to be uploaded:-

(1) A passport size photograph

(2) Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination

(3) Birth Certificate/HSLC Admit Card

(4) Caste Certificate (issued by the competent authority under the Government of Assam)

(5) Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate (issued by the competent authority) if any

(6) Gap Certificate, if any (Issued by the Head of the institution last attended or a Gazetted officer or an affidavit)

(7) The front page of the Bank Passbook/ Cancelled Cheque of the applicant's Bank Account

(8) Any one of the following to prove the domicile of Assam :

(a) Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)

(b) Voter Identity Card of the applicant or parent

(c) Aadhar Card of the applicant or parent

(d) BPL Card of the applicant's family

(e) Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth and Death

(f) Passport of the applicant or parent

(9) Extra Curricular Activity (ECA) Certificate if any

All the documents will be physically verified later on. If any information provided by the applicant is found to be false during verification, then his/her seat will be forfeited.
